The Queen Mary Review was started by a small group of students in 2012. Now online as PEACH, QMR was a literary magazine based on the campus of QMUL. It was funded by the students' union and had a print run of approximately 500. It was free.

Publishing exclusively original poetry, prose and literary journalism, it was the outlet for literary creatives among the QM student body. It was printed on good quality paper, and contained work with merit.

Collaborations with the feminist society, among others, garnered large audiences and very positive feedback. Videos of some of the performances can be found here. Headliners included powerhouses like Joelle TaylorVanessa Kisuule and Matt 'Man' Windle, aka the Poet with PunchThe magazine won Most Innovative Media Outlet 2015 at the Media Awards. A speech was given. The yellow and purple balloons evoked UKIP - this was a time of turbulent politics. The country was in turmoil, but the fiction was good.

For samples of the above three editions, all designed and head-edited by Bruno Cooke, click the links below. These publications could not have happened without the help of Tahmeed Zaki and Ali Copland. Big ups.
